Dagwood
is promised a "Big Fat Bonus" by Mr. Dithers if he can
complete a renovation job on schedule. Confident of his abilities,
Dagwood pre-spends the bonus money on a sparkling new diamond
ring, for his and Blondiešs upcoming anniversary. The fun begins
in the Bumstead household when Blondie hears about the bonus and
spends the money a second time. If only the job is completed on
time - wishful thinking considering the Bumstead's typical bumbling
mishaps.
Logline:
A leaky roof becomes a flood of trouble when Dagwood
loses his job. To pay for the repairs, Blondie lands a gig selling
Mr. Choppy, a kitchen utensil.
