Accessible and unassuming, this season Barbara takes us across the country to discover distinctive lifestyles in some of North Americas great cities. From New York to Los Angeles, San Francisco to Miami, Barbara takes us to designer showrooms, street markets, rodeos, and racetracks to meet with celebrities and todays important designers, chefs and artists.
The 2001-2002 season will continue to feature very special celebrities. "The King of Twist" Chubby Checker, takes Barbara to Philadelphias Italian market, the neighborhood where he got his start. In San Francisco, award-winning author, Terry McMillan joins B. at the Levi Strauss jeans factory. B. and actress Morgan Fairchild shop for home furnishings in Los Angeles. "Everybody Loves Raymond" mom, Doris Roberts talks healthy eating with B. at New Yorks Grand Central Station. And in Detroit, B. experiences life at the racetrack with driver Michael Andretti and his wife Leslie. A wide-range of celebrities join B. in her kitchen this year, including: Suzanne Somers, Judge Judy, Dr. Ruth, Ben Vereen, Judy Collins, Ce Ce Winans, and Tony Roberts.
Each episode of B. Smith With Style is seasoned with useful and unusual ideas that excite your imagination and fulfill the promise of entertaining with style without breaking the bank.
