EPISODE #4: DIRTY WORK

We do some pretty disgusting things on some very gross adventures. Vanessa starts us off by accidentally throwing one of her favorite things into a New York City garbage can. When she realizes she made a big mistake, she calls one of the Big Apple's garbage hunters and heads to the landfill to do a little digging in the trash. Talk about finding a needle in the haystack! More than 8,000 tons of stinky garbage are dumped onto this landfill every day and Vanessa has to find what she lost! Will she find it? Will she be too grossed-out to even look? Stay tuned!

Tyler also has to hold his nose for his adventure with the rhinos. Down in Busch Gardens, he gets a chance to play zookeeper for a day in the very smelly black rhino habitat. Wearing a leak-proof pair of high rubber boots, he ventures into where the 4,500 pound rhinos live. He'll be knee-deep in rhino poop trying to rake out the area. He'll also get the chance to hand-feed the rhinos their favorite menu of leaves and bushes.

Vanessa also gets down and dirty when she sails out into the Atlantic Ocean on a small fishing boat and finds out how the professionals gut their catch right there on the open seas. She'll slice and dice the fish wide open and then bring her gutted catch back to the processing plant where she'll learn how to clean it and get it ready for the fish markets, the supermarkets and our dinner tables.

Charlie also gets his hands dirty when he shows us how a heap of trash can produce valuable energy.
