Popular Mechanics for Kids, an entertaining and educational 30 minute magazine style television series targeted to kids 6 - 14, explores the limits of technology, science and imagination from a child’s unique and curious point of view. Hosted by teens Elisha Cuthbert,Tyler Kyte, and newcomer Vanessa Lengies, Popular Mechanics for Kids, returns for a third season fall 1999, when it uncovers topics that demystify all that is big, fast, cool, strange and awesome for kids of all ages. Seeking their answers out on location, the Popular Mechanics for Kids hosts won’t stand on the sidelines and let the adults do all the fun stuff! This season they will ride the world’s scariest roller coasters, crush cars with monster trucks and dive with the sharks in the Pacific Ocean! Also returning, Charlie, our resident Mr. Fix-it, ties it all together by explaining the science behind all the fun!
